Employees Lead Harvest for Hunger CampaignShare icon

Once again, in 2019 our employees showed their generosity through the annual Harvest for Hunger campaign to support food assistance programs across our service area.

  • JCP&L employees from our Point Pleasant, New Jersey, line and meter shops held a luncheon raising nearly $4,500 for Harvest for Hunger.
  • For the 10th year in a row, The Illuminating Company’s Miles Service Center held its Harvest for Hunger breakfast fundraiser. Employees and vendors enjoyed a hearty breakfast that was shared with Malachi’s Church in Cleveland.
  • Harvest for Hunger fundraising efforts from our Penelec employees in Altoona, Pennsylvania, included a cookout and a “Trash to Treasures" auction. Employees enjoyed the delicious barbeque and placed their bids on a wide variety of treasures.
  • Potomac Edison employees in our Martinsburg, West Virginia, office made and packaged sandwiches for fellow employees to purchase in support of Harvest for Hunger.
